At the moment, in our nearsightedness, these battles may seem pointless and never-ending. But we can always reflect on our past victories that have shaped and strengthened us and remember that indeed, God has been, is and will be faithful to see us through the present battles.

Friday, October 2

Had my recess week last week. Thought it was quite well spent, in one sense rather purposeful. Have to balance both my commitments as well as the revisions for my tests but there was much breathing space and i felt quite relaxed throughout the week. Had planned out enough time for my revisions but somehow i think i didn’t really study effectively. Found myself still inadequately equipped even till the point before the test today despite having read through the notes a few times. Think i have to readjust the way I revise and understand concepts. Thankfully, for the 2 tests i had for the past 2 days, it was still very much managable and i thank God for that despite feeling inadequately prepared for the tests.

I was much thankful for the little things which happened through the week in which God answered prayers or even guided me through when i choose to trust in Him and not worry. Its these little events that happen in my life which remind me time after time of His presence in me and show me the reality of God in my life. Also for the valuable quiet time spent. Helped me a lot in understanding perspectives and put me in the right one.
