had a pretty gd wkend...met the black five on sat in town...was in a super high mood...and i was happy too for some reasons...first of all, congrats to alwyn for getting the scholarship! yeah...we're so proud of him...haha..still waiting for your treat pal.....and for the other reason...well, just keep it a secret for the time being...if u're reading this, u shld know what it is...stupid person, i'm so envy of u now...damn...haha..when pple surrounding me are happy, it sort of influence me as well...thats why the rest of the wkend was pretty gd....start of gss...gss really makes u feel lk spending money...saw lotsa stuff which i wld want to buy but most prob wun have money for...belt, shoes, bags, clothes....and gd/ bad news is, i realised today that my friend can get 50% discount on esprit clothes and i happen to fancy some stuff there....guess i have to at least set aside 100 bucks for all those stuff...nvm...caught two movies this wkend...madagasca and monster-in-law...2 super hilarious movies...both have very typical, normal story plots but its the minor details and jokes that really make the movies worth its money...watching those 2 movies really make this wkend so much more enjoyable...haha...can look forward to more movies over the next few wkends..particularly the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy next week...can't wait can't wait...

last week was a busy week...had guard duty on mon...sian...the feeling of having everyone out there enjoying themselves while u stay in camp isn't gd...but it didn't turn out to be that bad either cause jason was there to do guard duty with me and we chatted a lot throughout the day and did some pretty interesting stuff...haha...didn't get much sleep either and i got sun-burnt...thur was some water-towing trial at outfield...our presence there was actually ite redundant cause most of the flotation were done by the experts...spent most of the time waiting for them to complete what they were doing....lack of sleep again and got sun-burnt too....fri was saf day parade rehearsal...the first combined rehearsal that i've attended...felt lk the pop at bmt but of course this is of a much larger scale and of great importance...it was an eye-opener seeing the first contingent doing their drills...i nv thought i'll ever be involved in a parade of such grand scale...rmb seeing the parade square during our j1 visit to ocs but i nv thought i'll be marching in the parade square itself...although i'm just in the supporting contingent, i'll still treasure the experience...saw joel over there but didn't get to say hi to him cause he was still marching...wasted and i couldn't find him later on...was so tired at the end of the day and got sun-burnt for the third time this week....parade ended early, so we got to book out quite early (although its still later then the rest of my brigade pple)...head down town with py to get tix for the wkend...watching madagasca and monster-in-law this wkend...can't wait...

now at sl hs blogging this...py wanted to watch the soccer match tog, so we ended up deciding up to stay over at his hs tonight...haha...quite fun..yet another stayover tog but this time at sl's hs...rmb my last stayover was in mar but that time was in mel's hs....received an sms from him today...wondering how he's lk nowaday...hope he's doing fine in ocs...saw han sheng at junction 8 just now but didn't get a chance to say hi....it all just reminded of the happy times over at mel's hs tog with hs and the bmt period...sigh, have to stop rattling on abt the past....anyway, today was rather enjoyable...all five of us were present...strange though, everyone was in gd mood...esp me, feeling a bit 'high'....ended up teasing poor candice alot...haha..got her so irritated...no harm, k? finally got to have a meal tog at kenny rogers today after postponing it for several weeks just to get everyone present...ok, now have to decide which restaurant to go to next...went to play yet another game of pool at the same place we went last week at marina square...had a lot hell of time laughing lk mad at those stupid things we've done...haha...candice...dun worry too much abt the results, k? just rmb that God will have the best intentions for you and you must always trust the path that He has given you....

done quite a bit of travelling ard last week to different camps....involved in the boat party...got to go to bukit panjang, sungei degong and seletar camp...but most of the time we stayed in the toner, so it was a bit boring....went jurong camp yest cause of saf day parade rehearsal...got chosen to go for it...no choice, have to take it in my pride....but at lst it'll be an experience...refreshed all my drills yest...haven really done drills since bmt...hope i can survive the subsequent rehearsals under the sun...got to know pple from my bridgade much better, esp those from my branch...2 new specs just arrived this week...still getting to know them...just dun really feel close to them at all...maybe its because they all much older and they came in much earlier...and its only that few pple whom u can know...its hard to find close friends in there...unlike in bmt where there's a whole platoon of pple to mix ard with and to do things tog...but i was really happy to meet those 40 pple i know at the cookhouse last week...at least i can look forward to meeting them there....going out with them later...hope all four of them can make it...it has been a long long time (3 weeks, to be exact) since all five of us meet up tog..haha...

met alwyn and candice yest...seemed lk a long time since i've met alwyn...kind of felt he's not lk how he was in the past...no more crappy jokes, laughter or whatsoever...kind of miss the old alwyn...maybe its because of the environment he's in now, esp for the fact that he's going back next week...and it always seem strange whenever we're out till late, he'll kind of become a very quiet person, getting less involved in conversations...wonder why...pal, i just hope that you'll relax whenever you're out, esp when u go out with us, k? dun be stressed or be bothered other stuff and smile more...we'll definitely lk to see your old-self again...
left esplanade at ten and went to borders to find my parent....heavy downpour on the way there...got struck in the rain...saw all the club-going pple hiding from the rain at wisma..heard someone called my name out of the crowd...realised it was peiying and alene...quite surprised to meet someone while waiting for the rain to stop...and alene thought i was going clubbing lk the rest of the pple...subsequently, we saw more nj pple ard too...shaun, kelly, chunwei, swee lee, qi xian and co.......turned out that they went back for college day and came to town tog...
seeing so many schoolmates in one spot felt lk it was some mini schmates outing...but more of them dun look lk they're schooling anymore....really looking forward to the upcoming class gathering...just hope it wun be a pathetic few who will come...haha

my comp has been down for the past few weeks, there's why i couldn't use the comp till now...today there's armour relay run at my camp, so everyone had to take half day leave/off...then i might as well take a one-day leave, thats why i book out last night...another routine week, except that this week i finally got to stay in...life after office hours in camp was quite different as compared to morning...music blasting out loud, freedom to move ard as u lk or do whatever u lk without anyone controlling your movements...even me and jason thought we were at pasir ris chalet...haha...
but it can get pretty boring if u dun have any entertainment planned out...so in the end we wld end up watching tv in bunk....at least tue and wed there's nights off, can get out of the camp during the camp...except for last wed where i had to stay back at the office cause i was the duty clerk for the day...dun have much responsibilities at this moment cause my upper study is doing holding on to much of the jobs....
june holidays are coming soon but i guess for us it doesn'tmake a diff to us...that can be pretty boring, no extended rest period to look forward to...hope i can get used to such routine weeks if not i wld not be able to last till the end of next yr....
