just came back from kl last night...ard midnight...was a super fun trip, i think...very fruitful...primarily its because its my first trip with friends instead of family....and u go out doing things with pple whom you have similar interests with...and you tend to enjoy yourself even more cause you end up getting more out of the short trip...literally every moment of the trip was enjoyable...
the hotel that we stayed in was pretty near klcc, which is the shopping mall at the petronas, so it makes our itinery so much more convenient....cause we can always start and end off our itinery of the day there...we were supposed to go chinatown on the first day...ended up in some bazaar in some place we didn't know where...then it started raining, so we gave up and took a cab to mid-valley mall which is one of the largest mall in s.e. asia....its really impressive...and we got really excited cause there were lotsa shops with discounts and it kept us occupied for hours...we had dinner at this rest called mdm kwan which is quite famous (we found out later)...had their speciality nasi lemak...joking abt how their service was super fast cause they were overstaffed...brought back dunkin' donuts' back to the hotel to eat...missed those donuts..had them in kindergarden....
had a&w on the second day...something which everyone of us missed since it closed business in sing....satisfied our craving for root beer float, chicken wings and curly rings....even bought their famous a&w bear for keepsake...went over to a few shopping malls to shop...i even had a hair cut, complete with wash and style at times square...not bad...at least i lked it...almost lost our way while making our way to chinatown...but it wasn't too bad..had fun along the way...met various malaysians, lk those little girls from a primary sch whom we seeked directions from..the whole conversation was kinda hilarious...anw, chinatown wasn't too bad...got rip-offs at a bargaining price...it was an experience over there...but kinda crowded and unsafe over there...so we left soon after to seek shelter back at klcc and it feels more homely...haha...it feels more familiar over there...anw, we end off the day with a sudden urge to watch wallace & gromit...my first movie overseas., got pretty excited over it..the movie was so worth watching...i didn't regret it...and it helps that our hotel was near enough to walk back after the movie...on the third day, we wanted to go to the skybridge but it was super crowded and the free tix were all given out already...so we ended up going to various shopping centres which ended up being so crappy that we end up going to the menara kl tower...there's admission free but its so worthwhile up the observation deck cause the view from up there was magnificent...simply breathingtaking...but we shld have gone there on the first day cause we were given brief overall intro of kl up there through the audio guide....we end off at klcc (again) at the kl convention centre, the scenic park next to it...visited the giftshop of the aquaria (didn't want to pay the exp entrance fee) and end off the day at the shopping mall....mf and yk are really enjoyable companions for an overseas trip...similar interests, common topics to chat abt...and we can easily bond tog...thats why i wld say i spent quite a fun time there...had fun chit-chatting at the hotel at night, making jokes and going through all those fun tog...and mf also enjoys taking photos, so we end up taking lotsa photos at the various places that we've been to...have to upload them soon, i hope...and there's yk who has this similar interest in shopping for clothes, we wld exchange opinions of clothes we see there...had quite an experience getting ard kl in taxis...taxis which tried to overcharge us, one which is exceptionally cheap, some which are friendly, one which was a premier taxi and many others which we rejected cause they dun go by meter....bought a few stuff over there...only got things that i wldn't really find in sing...most of the things are rare finds and i really lk them, esp the pair of bottoms i got from times square...i simply lk it...i knew i had to get that although it was a bit exp...its imported from hk and its something i haven't seen here....a belt from topman which i hadn't seen here too but looks nice on my bottoms...got a t-shirt and berms too...didn't really got a lot of stuff but i end up spending all the ringgit that i brought here ...haha..lucky i didn't have to withdraw more cash over there...and i managed to control my budget quite a bit cause i didn't get stuff i cld easily find here...and the return bus trip was a pleasant surprise cause it was an executive coach and we didn't expect to have executive treatments lk nice waiting area when we check-in...massaging chairs for our seats on the bus, personal tv entertainment and even food-on-board....it was so comfortable and enjoyable...what a great way to end off our trip...there's so much more to mention for our trip...really one of the more memorable one i've ever had...hope to have more of such overseas trips next yr with them as well as with some of closest friends....last day of 2005...enjoy the last few hours while you can...

another day of shopping...went out with alwyn and py...watched narnia with them at lido...a movie which i've anticipated for a long time...finally got to watch it...enjoyed the details of the cinematography...continued with our shopping at suntec city...went to shop at levi's and got my first pair of levi's jeans and a top from there....alwyn also got a pair of nike shoes too...another eventful shopping trip again...guess i've more or less bought most of the stuff that i needed...got a topman jacket christmas gift from hl during dinner...thanks a lot..i lk it and it'll come in very useful...going kl early tmr morning...getting quite excited over the trip....have to go pack my bag now....

christmas is finally over...its boxing day today! i'm so glad its block leave till 2 jan..really a gd time for me to relaxand recover from the fatigue....it'll be another long day ahead of me....meeting my cousin for shopping and then the night with the rest of black 5....and i think i better pack my stuff tmr for my kl trip....

merry christmas!!!
its christmas again! a season of joy, peace, love and hope....an, i had a great christmas eve...went to candice's hs for gift-exchanging...and i got a mug from starbucks and an i-dog for my presents!...thought the dog was an interesting geek toy...anw, i really lk the presents they gave me...thanks black 5!...the time spent them really reminded me of the exact same time last yr when we were there for the same purpose....and the photo with same toast we had at the kitchen entrance...and i really hope this can be an annual event for us....anw, i hope u pple lk your presents too!
went to mos at night with a few friends...super packed over there...the queue was horrible...it was at least 400m long..serious..i'm not exaggerating it...it took us slightly more than 2 hours before we can actually get in...and its prob because pple were cutting queue in front cause of friends they know in the queue...but i'm not complaining cause we also managed to cut into the queue ahead...but even with that, we also had to queue that long...but the wait was worth it...the fibre optics at the entrance was awesome...we went to explore the different secions of the club..places lk smoove with the r&b/hip-hop music, 54 is the retro place with the nice numerous disco balls and lighted disco panels at the dance floor...i thought that deco was nice...the set-up at pure was comfy...with all the cushion beds and seats, very nicely done-up...there was practically no space for movement at some points of time but it was generally bearable...and i'm glad its big enough to accomodate everyone...anw, the 6 of us took lots of photos there, almost one in every arenas...going to upload the photos soon, after i get them from liang wei....it was already 3 plus when we finally left the place....but it was a pleasant first-time visit there....

so glad that the past week was finally over...its seems lk a really long week..maybe because we had been busy with ftx since the previous sun night..a lot of stuff have happened since then...disagreements, complaints, frustration....dun need to mention what exactly happened...basically the week didn't really go well for s3 branch...since its over already, let bygons be bygones...just hope these wun happen again....i'm just so glad block leave is finally here...
come home late at night...was shopping with yk last night...ended u spending quite a bit...haha...its was the last day of shopping just before christmas, end up orchard was jam-packed with pple doing all the last-min shopping for gifts...anw, hc joined us after work and we ended up at coffee club for supper and chatted till lk 1 pus in the morning before we left...
its christmas eve today....can't wait for the rest of the day to come....

went to robinsons with my mum today...damn crowded cause of the 20% storewide discount for members...got a braun buffel wallet cause this is the only time when u can get its latest range at a discount...anw, i'm quite surprised my mum cld get it for me cause i really think its exp...sure pamper myself with this purchase...anw, my mum still paid for some more stuff which i wanted to get...totalling more than two hundred bucks...argh..guilty, guilty...but i'm really very happy with all the purchases....anw, i did return to the same shop at far east which i got my clothes last week...i was juz browsing through the clothes when the same salesgirl who attended to me last wk started recommending various jeans for me...anw, no harm trying them since i'm free....and i end up reserving a piece of jeans which is so damn nice..no harm buying since i was planning to get new clothes...and i'll prob get more clothes from that shop if there're any more nice ones next wk when i go back to collect my jeans....

class outing at anqi's hs today...quite gd turnout...13 pple in total...all these pple are quite close, so there wasn't a quiet moment..which was quite gd considering that we have not met for months...managed to catch up with one another on our latest happenings, esp digging out gossips and such...ordered canadian pizza and played some games too...although it was only a few hours, but it was time well spent..very fruitful indeed, considering that we didn't plan what to do at her hs and we still managed to enjoy ourselves...hope to have a next one soon...

its dec already..so fast...the holiday season is here...and its the 1st yr i'm not having a sch vacation...sian...anw, finally managed to do some serious shopping today...went to bugis street and bought a sling bad at a cheap deal...went to bugis junction and got a pair of swimming trunks from bods...went to orchard later in search of more suff...went to far east plaza where i got the top and bottom that i saw last wee..was really pleased with ym purchase cause i lk that set of clothes, esp the cargo pants...anw, i'm definitely going bak to that shop to get more stuff, preferably...and it does help when the salesgirl there give valuable and honest advice...anw, need to continue with my xmas shopping over the next ew wkends, as well as getting xmas cards done...have yet to get my materials...
