read today's sunday times and there was this article right after u flipped over the cover page abt ns men posting restricted photos of their oversea trip on their blogd...and guess what? this qas the unit that i was attached to for my wallaby trip!...i was quite surprised nitially as i read on and found more evideces that confirmed that this was the sam trip that i went for...it mentioned abt the blogs of ns men having photos of themselves resting in armoured vehicles and one of them even mentioned abt an incident of an overturned tank...and this is what really happened! cause i even went to take a look at that veh in the morning...but luckily the crew were unharmed...actually i do have similar photos taken with vehicles but they are only the ext components and not the interior...and this is prob the only chance thatwe get to have photo taken with armoured veh...thats why we grabbed the opportunity...

even though i've come back for abt 2 weeks already, till now i still have flashbacks of the trip...in 1 way, u can say i kinda miss the trip...haha...its lk every now and then, a lot of things will make me recall the trip...although i dun wish to go through the training again, i really do value the opportunity of going overseas...there is supposed to be an india trip nxt yr, but i heard only the pso are going...now the only hope is taiwan..even if i wld going, it'll be different cause it'll be with the rest of the brigade and the experience will be diff...wallaby's experience is unique and irreplacable, so i shall be content for being able to have that...

talking abt things that remind of the trip, there are a few songs that bring back memories of wallaby...top on the list is craig david's 'dun love u no more'...me & jason just kept listening to that song on my mp3 and singing it whenever we're free...other songs include fish leong's 'silkroad' (including jason's own narration of its mtv), daniel powter's 'bad day' and that famous ozone song...and the 3 of us (inc mf) even attempted to imitate the dance moves....

somehow, the trip as sort of influenced my preference...i've started buying and drinking australian imported milk...this must be caused by the numerous packets of milk that i've bought form the canteen over the 3 weeks...despite the steep price, i willl faithfully buy a packet whenever we are there and i'll always be disapponted when the milk is sold out..haha...

anw, i do hope i'll get to visit the country again soon and this time as a tourist..
