this week actually didn't seem as bad as expected...at least we didn't stay outfield for the entire day for five days in a row as thought...and the fear for driving has decreased substantially as i got more used to the mechanism of the vehicle...in fact, i was kind of enjoying some of the stuff that we have been doing...stuff that we wld not be doing elsewhere outside camp...it really feels gd to be able to learn to drive a vehicle now...driving up the gullies were actually fun..gullies are a series of high steep bumps btw...and the other day we helped to change spoilt tracks for our vehicle...it was hard work but with the cooperation of my syndicate members and the instructors, it was quite a smooth job..at the point of time, i was really enjoying the process of changing the tracks cause there isn't much opportunity for us pple to be doing such hard labour when we go to society to work later...it was really an eye-opening experience for me that day...

got to know more fellow course mates better throughout the week...well, of course there wld be pple whom u feel lk bashing them up each time u see them...ok, maybe not that violent but they really irritates u with their nonchalant, heck-care attitude....it really angers me each time i see them..but i'm trying to show that i dun care abt such pple...on the other hand, some pple do impress me a lot...my syndicate is really the best i could ask for...everyone is cooperative and easy to work with...and this makes each operation an ease...the only thing i could complain abt is myself cause i feel that i have not performed up to my expectations of the vehicle ic..haha...but its lk pple in my syndicate which enables me to perform my job much easier...i'm still surprised why some pple in my syndicate didn't make it to command sch....pple lk ming feng, chun wei and jerold who surprises me with his knowledge of the vehicle...

of course, there are quite a few pple i know from rj who are really hardworking and genuinely

helpful...pple lk raphael and andrew and of course liang yuan..i'm really impressed by his drawing skills...very professionally-done...he can just do up a sketch in five min and the sktches looked lk those done by fashion designers..amazing..i really admire his skills...

oh, yest we had bbq for dinner before bookout..its a course dinner to reward us for the hard work...initially a lot of us were complaining its a waste of time but i guess everyone still did enjoy ourselves...i mean how many opportunities are there to have a bbq in camp?..its a break from training and a good chance to bond with fellow course mates...got to know the trainee female sergeant from my syndicate a lot better...found out more abt army from a female's perspective which was quite interesting...and we were laughing silly at raphael's jokes...he's a natural comedian...there were performances put up by fellow coursemates...brendon whom i first got to know during the block leave is really good at drumming...didn't really got to know him better although he's also a fellow vehicle ic cause he's in the another grp...

anw, next week is the last week of the course...i dun know whether i'll miss the pple i know from there but my gut feeling tells me i will for some pple...and i'm definitely looking forward towards doing flotation where we get to drive the vehicle into water....
